Courage, Do You Know Where She Went?

Hello all,

Thank you for confirming your interest in traveling ahead with me,

I will have more to say about the Turquoise and Lavender Institute in a day or two,

But today... I want to share how heavy my heart feels as I reflect upon the abuses of power that are simply taking us over. Everywhere we turn there is someone who seems to have heard the mistaken message that power brings with it the right to control, manage or mis-manage and abuse others for the sake of the abusers ego satisfaction. 

Whether we are thinking about the unjust wars around the globe or individuals in every institution that you can name, the same issue exists and it has a very shared foundation. The foundation of individual brokenness, psychological and spiritual greed. The notion that the abuse of power can relieve the emptiness of the soul is a very sad understanding about what might be a remedy for a wounded soul.

I am so moved by the integrity and courage that I saw being exhibited by the recently assassinated Alexi Navalny in Russia. If you have not seen the documentary about his life, it is worth watching and can be found on Prime Video. I am struck by his clarity and purity about the way ahead for himself. He knew that the Russians would kill him when he returned there after they had already tried to kill him. But he went back anyway because integrity that leads to death is worth more than life with no bottom line principles.

We have to recover that kind of determination of bottom line principles that will not succumb to bullying and abusive uses of power, no matter where it is encountered. We have to recover Courage. The lack of caring leads to the death of courage and I hope that you will join with me in seeking a deeper life of caring and the courage that comes with it which will lead to saying no to bullying and abusers everyone they are found. I hope that we can move more toward not being as concerned about ourselves being acceptable  as we are the Truth.

I believe that the truth does set us free. Can we create brave spaces together and stand in that promise that we will be free if we do so? I hope so.  Blessings and Peace!
